In 2021, the renewed candidacy of President Patrice Talon, who vowed when he first ran for office in 2016 that he would only govern for five years, divides the West African country of Benin...and the Okoumassoun twins. Politically diametrically opposed, they are otherwise inseparable until Nadine, a member of the political opposition who publicly opposes the incumbent's renewed candidacy, is sent to prison. While she suffers under the difficult prison conditions, her sister Nadia fights for her release despite all the insults and defamation, including that of her own person.
