After a serious motorbike accident in Benin (West Africa), in which he lay in a coma for nine days and almost lost his life, which many around him described as a typical "Beninoiserie", the filmmaker sets out to explore the origins of this expression used for all conceivable circumstances. The most famous slam poet in the country, the medium of the deity IFA, musicians, artists and chance acquaintances all have their say. The film offers a contemporary picture of Beninese society and shows how people have developed a philosophical approach in the face of the harshness of daily life, which is reflected in their humour and resilience. A mirror for the duality of life that gives us an idea that there is often something good in all evil.
